The parcel was landlocked. Although the neighbors to the east would grant them an easement across their back yard to access rear parking, that back yard was accessed via the CTA right of way and the CTA would not go along with it. So they had to change the plan to allow front access.

...accident in the sense that the architectural value which Jibba praised happened by chance and was not deliberate at all.

Not some generic tacky things; more like bars with fire pits. Maybe mix the Redmoon fire motif in with booze. Booze being the patron saint of NYE.

That's what molly is for.
Chicago
is colder than NYC. Not significantly, but enough that I think it would be noticeable if just barely. I wonder if the Chicago numbers take into account the windchill and if the New York's the heat island effect. And I don't know how much it affects the overall experience, but you spend much more time underground in New York. The heat lamps on the "L" platforms help, but not as much.
But yeah. When people (and I'm not talking about
you here—just "people" in general) use an epithet like Chiberia to describe the city, it makes me think they haven't spent much time in other large Frost Belt cities.

A lot of the other disagreements are much more minor by comparison, and most people don't use the same kind of inflammatory, bombastic language.
