That degree average difference stretched over a month may not be significant but it is definably noticeable.

24C with a humidex of 27 and sunny.

Low of 18C this morning. Love it.

The warmspot was Kapuskasing, ON at 27.3C.

Warmest low was Montreal, QC at 17.8C. Will be the new highest low if it holds.

After some nighttime rain the morning had some showers and then the afternoon was nice.
A bit on the cool side but that's just the way I like it.

Saturday's high at Vancouver Harbour was 14 C, the low was 9 C.

I'm with Nicko on this one. I am open to being proved wrong, obviously, I'm not going to cry or throw a tantrum... but I genuinely thing I can feel less than a degree below freezing versus less than a degree above lol Something in me just hurts and it seems to line up with -0.4C versus +0.2C, etc. lol

And I would move if weather was the most important factor in how satisfied I am by my surroundings, but it's just not. And my personal weather preferences are so uncommon and narrow that there's really only a handful of places I could go - 5C and above in winter, under 25C in summer (if humid) with cooler nights. Urbanity preferences, though, I could go anywhere with old stones.

****

That said, overcast today. Just under 3C at my place currently Heading out over the highway today with my parents to see my recently-bedridden, 97-year-old grandmother. 3.5 hours each way, and we're staying until just after supper. It'll be worth it, but... long day.

Man. Less than 30 minutes outside St. John's is enough to get a bit of sun lol

Edit: Cannabis drive-through at a highway gas station in Whitbourne. That feels wrong lol

Edit: The year-old moose are being driven off on their own by their mothers. Makes.for fun driving lol

Been a pretty moody week here in Kelowna. Last couple of days have been low to mid teens with rain showers off and on. Its good we definitely need it.
Upcoming week is shaping up to be much of the same, Tuesday/Wednesday is looking like a major system bringing lots of rain to the valley.

Thanks, Townguy, and sorry about that. I usually remember to put in my location if it's outside of Metro Vancouver.

Well, Victoria might just be your cup of tea then SHH. Just checked 2023 stats at the Gonzales weather station (main station in the city) and for the full year there were 6 days where the daily high fell below 4 C (and no days where the high was below zero) and 12 days where the high exceeded 25 C.

The weather here is incredibly predictable and moderate, I love it. Although the grass is already starting to yellow here and we won’t be getting much rain until late September or October.

26C with a humidex of 28 and sunny.

Low of 15C this morning. Very comfortable weather.

The warmspot was Windsor, ON at 30.7C.

Warmest low was Timmins, ON at 16.6C. The low ended up being 17.1C for Montreal so the 17.4C in Osoyoos remains the yearly mark for now.

Hopefully we have the first tropical nights coming in the next few days so Osoyoos' days are counted.
