Why are there so many awkwardly funny guys from Canada?

The comic timing on these guys is just masterful. Doesn't matter what they say, it'll be funny. It's the timing and delivery. Their body language is impeccably funny too.

Canada seems to have cornered the market on producing droll cultural dweebs. They have likely sprung forth from growing up in a country that is in a perpetual state of wedgie at the hands of its next-door neighbour.

this was being discussed on the radio on my commute home today. The one guest said this could be an issue for renters in Canada and said as the law is there is no reason for non-resident landlords to bother to pay tax on their properties in Canada and said it's financially in their best interest to not pay the tax and apparently no penalty on themif they don't as that falls onto the occupant aka the renter.

So one should really be aware of who and where their landlord lives etc. And he suggested renters deal with rentals that have a property management company as if the owner fails to pay the taxes the company in charge is on the hook.

David Siscoe has some advice for fellow renters across the country: get proof that your landlord is paying their taxes, or at least make sure you’ve got a property manager who’s responsible.

Mr. Siscoe is the Montreal tenant who was audited and assessed by Canada Revenue Agency in 2018 and ordered to pay six years’ worth of his non-resident landlord’s withholding taxes, as reported recently by the Globe and Mail. Mr. Siscoe says he did not know his landlady was a non-resident.

He also didn’t know that tenants renting from a non-resident are required to withhold and remit 25 per cent of their rent to CRA each month, unless they have a property manager doing it for them, or if the non-resident has made alternate arrangements to pay their taxes.

Thank you! I'm happy that you guys enjoyed it and spotted some of the Easter eggs! I also hope you enjoyed the deep dive into the channel... some of the videos are better than others...

I got three more animations currently storyboarded, but they each take about 3 to 4 months to make, so the next one wont be out until early fall

This weekend an unknown soldier will be repatriated from France to be interred at our National War Memorial. The refurbishment of the memorial site, including the addition of the Tomb of the Unknown Solider, should be complete by our Memorial Day, July 1.

The Hello Kitty subculture is an interesting one. My cousin is obsessed with the brand, and it was everywhere in Taiwan and China. It's fascinating how popular it is and for how long.

It's a VERY Newfoundland day in the media.

New Corner Brook hospital/long-term care home is too small for even existing needs. As people are being moved out of the old hospital in the city, some are being sent where there's room hundreds of kilometers away.

People are livid. End result, I guarantee it, is we'll be paying to keep the old hospital going as well. For a shrinking city of 20K.

And, perhaps in related news, were suing Ottawa over the equalization formula.
