So the bench detail along the Osborne sidewalk on the east side in the drawing Biff posted above is being constructed with rock gabions. I'm shocked the city approved this design. I give it until about February before a snow plow destroys one of these and it takes years to be fixed.

I'm pretty sure the only reason the city is installing a "park" (set of riprap gabions) here is because that white building was illegally using it as a parking lot.

Still one or two guys working on the foundation for this, the excavator is in different positions each week.

There were eight or so workers on this site this morning, which actually made it look fairly busy. It's certainly the most I've ever seen there.

Sadly, if the renderings are accurate, it's going to look like an even larger appliance next to the existing appliance.

It seems that this project finally received its full building permit on October 1 after only having a partial building permit (up to the 7th floor) for the last 2 years.

I drive through Confusion Corner every day and it appears that the Osborne Place project (The jail looking building) has made a fair bit of foundational progress. I would expect to see some 1st level columns in the next little bit.
