Occasional naps, lol. But this tower is one that should have risen by now, so now that things are moving, hopefully it rises like a tower long overdue.

We've entered the noisy phase of construction. I saw a lot of people curious about what was causing such a disturbance on 5th Avenue. A soaring, new skyscraper, as the skyscraper gods saw fit!

Wow the bottom image shows that few people are seeing this future giant about to start rising!

Currently, NYC's shortest supertall is the 996 ft (303.58 m) One Manhattan West. At 995 ft (303.28 m), this will be 1 ft shorter than that.

Yes sir. You can stand there and watch (as I did) as people walked up to take a peek. But it wasn’t just the construction that drew curiosity, but the noise. Not typical of this stretch of 5th.

This building will have a huge presence on 5th Avenue, and act as a nice companion to both 500 Fifth and 1 Vanderbilt.

I think both 5th Ave super talls seeing major movement is a good sign for this year. I think we are in store for a 2022 and beyond boom. I just hope the Lower Manhattan market reaps from such optimism.

We have 3 imminent supertalls beginning this year, followed by a few next year, and the pipeline beyond that. Not to mention the towers currently on hold.

Lower Manhattan has been holding its own.

Not sure what you hope to see at this point. It still isn’t rising yet.

I was hoping to see more activity on site, like digging to bedrock.

There has been earthwork.
