It's not terribly ugly in the sense most stuff in this thread is (or will be). Just banal and more of a context thing.

Hmm.... I am perplexed. You must have to see it in person to appreciate its ugliness. But thank you for posting a pic.

^ Did you take that picture? Oh wait, I did. I was confused because it is not credited.

Dear God!!! Someone should photoshop that old couple in the sales photo to look like they're crying. What a prison. It's only redeeming quality I can see is there doesn;t appear to be any stucco.

EDIT: Oh wait I think I spotted some near the top. Still beats this piece of shit from Calgary: Mismatched brown colour of stucco that's supposed to mimic the brick past the 5th or 6th floor all the way to the top.

Infinity 1, 2, 3 and 4 Toronto.

Not only are they ugly but they're right across the street from the friggin CN tower. Tourists at the base look east and this is what they see.

Worst of all they are building another set of these directly south of the built ones.

Behold!

Phase 4 of the École de technologie supérieure's student residences (completed this year) are a real discoloured bunker.

At least it's honest about the type of accomodations you'll find inside. Namely closet sized dorm room prison cells.

You mean you haven't heard or seen the grating ads for Red Haus?> with it's "stylish and sophisticated european charm" that is currently "redefining the Royal Oak skyline"?

http://redhausliving.com/

Edit: I think Freeweed lives in the area and calls it the clown house or something.

Oh London's got it's fair share of ugliness!

How about the Harriston:

I was aware of Red Haus the project, just never bothered to see what it looked like (I don't think I have ever been in Royal Oak). Looks like I am not missing much.

Nope. What's especially awful is the 90's style fake mediterranean red roof tiles.

The fake clock tower at Hamilton City Centre:

Landmark Place (Hamilton's tallest - white air traffic control looking thing on the right):

Ugly '70s era skyscrapers which I suppose weren't ugly for the time but they unfortunately make up the bulk of Hamilton's skyline:

Which naturally goes with the peach stucco.

Don't be silly. They've evolved and progressed to vinyl siding.
