We can expect what 1.5-2 months for the podium? After that it should be smooth sailing until the top.

Walked by this one last night. They are now forming the 3rd floor of this one, and to think 3 weeks ago it was barely at ground level. This one will rise fast, it will rise huge.

i actually think it might be the 2nd (the floors are really tall),
not to be picky, but aura reached ground level about a month ago (yeah... i know, it seems like yesterday!)

I wonder if they were handling construction better a month ago...or at least if the project about a month ago somehow made more sense or felt more desirable to others in terms of the method of construction?

No seriously steveve, they were forming the 3rd level last night as I walked by.. Just to make sure I am not crazy, i'll doublecheck tonight, as I will be at the Delta.

Regardless, this one is moving fast.

Ok steveve, I checked it out. And we are both right, however, I am more right than you.

When I doubled checked the status at Aura tonight, I can confirm that as you stated, there are 2 completed and formed concrete floors at the Aura Tower. But...

Big Butt....

They have begun forming the third level above ground. These floors are NOT fully formed, and congrgate toward the southern edge of the site, with rebar and some concrete pillars/columns already pre formed.

So they have in effect begun the forming on the 3rd floor.

One year and 2 months ago excavation on Aura began

Walked by Aura (College Park) last night, the columns are as huge as the columns at Trump (or they might even be slightly bigger) And then of course the site size is far greater than Trump, I would say, 15% bigger than the Shangrila-Toronto Tower. Very impressive from sidewalk level.

I've been working 13 hour days, so I was glad to get a chance to get downtown for a bit last night.
