It would be wondrous. Need Council to get back on the Land Development Code ASAP. A lot of projects waiting for it, and even more that would update if given the opportunity.

Planning Commission couldn’t get enough votes to pass a proposed 90’ bldg. at S. Lamar and Dickson. It will be 500 homes (50 which are income restricted Affordable). We seem to be more afraid of taller buildings than unaffordability and sprawl. This arbitrary 60’ height limit all over our city’s best corridors bite us more by the day. Let's hope we find the needed leadership at City Council.

"Needed Leadership." Sadly...that's totally subjective (but, I agree).

Since moving to council district voting, you're putting a lot of pressure to those districts to vote out those with whom they have elected. I don't see that changing anytime soon. We're stuck with a bunch of ignorant, anti-growth, anti-urbanist NIMBY's. Ughhhh.

Apologies if this has already been mentioned...But, 20 of the 24 residential units are under contract already. Of the four remaining, the units start at $1.65 million and go up to $4.4 million.

I'm glad this one isn't just glass curtain wall. Something about the large square windows is very pleasing to the eye.

The Loren Condos Are Nearly Sold Out at South Lamar and Riverside

https://austin.towers.net/the-loren-...and-riverside/

The long-expected development of the “Taco PUD” at the southeast corner of South Lamar Boulevard and West Riverside Drive has taken shape over the last two years since the 2019 start of work on the eight-story hotel and condo project known as the Loren at Lady Bird Lake, and though the building at 211 South Lamar Boulevard isn’t expected to open until June 2022, as of today 23 of the building’s 24 units are officially under contract, according to its sales team at Moreland Properties.

With 44 East and Natiivo also selling out before completion, it bodes well for more Condo skyscrapers. The Linden and Vesper are the only condo towers underway now, and they just barely started.

WB to Lamar was down to one lane but all lanes have reopened recently. EB from Lamar remains closed.

Huh? The condo portion was nearly all "sold out" in September of last year. What did they do...say: "Sorry Folks. Our bad."
