This has been taking for ever, I remember seeing the signage go up inside in early 2019.

I think they are waiting until more offices open up.

Any updates on the empty bays in Fox? Last I heard, there were supposed to be a new restaurant and circuit training gym. Guessing those got sidelined due to covid.

Does anyone know what will be going into Encore's podium?

Nothing on Fox.

Encore tower listing, looks like it's all available:

"Certainly, but share an image of a vibrant marketplace with people and produce that also shares that there is free parking.

This is your one change to inspire and encourage others to want to come.

That image indicates that this 'market' is in a fallow part of town with gravel lots and nothing interesting around it.

Not compelling at all folks.

This is marketing 101
."

"I enjoy going to this market, but how they are pitching it makes me want to go less and less. That image is exactly the opposite of what I want to go see and experience. Blah."

sooo... other than using a quality graphic instead of a photo, the difference between the farmers market advertising free parking and city centre advertising free parking would be what exactly in marketing 201?

I went to the Encore open house this past saturday - Westrich and another developer are taking the NW retail bay for their head office, Westrich claims to be negotiating on a high-end men's clothing store for the east bay.

^ I was with someone who was inspecting their suite back in the summer and I happen to come across the owner of the Helm Clothing there with some folks that looked like real estate agents. So perhaps, that makes sense. It would be a loss to their 104 street location.

Nothing and it's not going to attract people.

Paid parking is the least of that mall's problems...
MWTC has a more interesting and useful selection of stores FCOL

I'd say Bonnie Doon has a better selection of shops and services than ECC, which is dying a slow death due to mall mismanagement and COVID.

ECC is looking sadder everyday. Time to demo the west side and consolidate into CC East.

Hear hear! And then let's rename it Edmonton Centre.
