It's not like there's alot to choose from skyscraper-wise. Still, IMO, Scotia Plaza beats it with ease.

Really? The twin aspect is what makes Bankers Hall though. Individually, they're pretty boring and stout in comparison to other deco/gothic inspired Post modernism of the era.

RL is a great building, I wouldn't say it's the best, but it's really nice. Bankers Hall in Calgary is definitely on par, and is the only highrise complex where I would keep both towers as is. Once the Bow is finished, I think that will be the nicest skyscraper in Canada, right now I think I would have to give that honour to Shangri-La in Vancouver, though I have never seen it in person.

I agree completely about height restrictions, they work in Vancouver, but they are silly in Montreal and Ottawa. They make no sense because you aren't preserving any views or sight lines.

^Yummy. That's my favorite view of Toronto, where the CN Tower acts as a peak and enhances the skyline rather that completely dominate and dwarf it.

To think another tall tower is going to be squeezed into the middle of that dense forest of 'scrapers is crazy. A shiny new FCP will enhance it even more.
