bolded part is a huge item when it comes to parking. IMO if you live in the City or close to (Lumsden, White City, Balgonie, Grand Coulee, Pilot Butte) take your car to a mall and take a city bus in to the games ($2 each way, or if the city was smart (season ticket holders could get one or both ways free)) There is no reason you couldn't or (shouldn't) do this. This leaves out of-towers the ability to park their cars closer to the stadium. This reduces congestion, allows people who have to drive 2-4-6-8 hours home to get out quicker. And reduces pollution near the stadium.
