Canada’s MAID program is now frequently being used as a cautionary tale of a slippery slope in other nations where the assisted suicide debate has surfaced. Another extremely flawed program that started with good intentions, but has now gone too far and will take the focus and research away from treatment to the easy way out. From soldiers with PTSD to people with depression now, awful program.

Very little in your comment has anything to do with public disorder as it relates to liveability in Vancouver. Your understanding of MAiD in Canada is entirely inaccurate. Currently, unlike countries like Belgium or the Netherlands, mental disorders including PTSD or depression do not allow individuals to access MAID.
PTSD is commonly associated with higher rates of suicide by former soldiers, and members of the police force, which is almost certainly a much greater problem than any future potential for accesssing MAiD. In Belgium and The Netherlands, less than 2% of those seeking MAiD had solely mental health reasons, and studies found that middle-aged and elderly women with depression comprised the majority of these requests.
