In a few years and that area is going to be thriving, especially considering Marta's within walking distance. I drove down there this weekend, and that area really has transformed. There is already a convenience store in Pencil Factory Lofts across the street, and they're adding a barber shop and possibly a small gym as well. Plus Mercy Care Services just down the street has finished doubling and revamping its space, and a large, vacant building across the street from King Memorial MARTA Station was torn down not long ago.
Word is that Georgia State is moving its Panthersville sports complex downtown within 5 years, and they're already buying more of Edgewood in the near future. This area is becoming a destination: I remember when no one got off at that Station
