The steel structure that the new scoreboard will mount to is starting to go up. It'll also serve as a connection between the two towers.

Will the videoboard be ready for this season (assuming there is one)?

Has U.T. given any guidance on that yet?

Hate to say it, but I agree with you. This virus (1) will have to be firmly under control and (2) there will have to be a vaccine before I can see 100,000 or even 50,000 people gathering in one place at one time. I think we will have figured something out by 2021, but not by this coming September.

Basically, you need 2 weeks of declining cases to move to phase 1 which means we are a minimum of 45 days away from finishing all 3 phases. That should be easier to do in the smaller college towns.

I think this season will be more of an exhibition season with a hodge podge of games played. I still think the smart and responsible thing is to cancel the season especially since the players are unpaid.

There is no way to have physical separation during a football practice or a football game.

How many people are going to be comfortable sitting in close proximity to 99,999 other people who are yelling at the top of their lungs?

If The University elects not to resume on-campus instruction in the fall term, does what the NCAA decides matter?

No because the NCAA just said their opinion doesn't matter. I think the point is the NCAA has to say something and they have come out and said "Here is a guide but you do what you need to do. If you think you need to cancel games then we support that. Don't schedule games because of us."

Basically, they aren't going to Greg Abbot everyone.

Whooo! Not me. I'm taking this seriously. I wish everyone would. The data strongly suggests it.
