Anyone been to Vida La Pita recently? That used to be the spot after late night drinking.

Yesterday. I saw a crew of at least 10 people just working on forming for the last section of the floor, it was quite a busy site. I also was shocked by just how different this area seems, and dense with these two proejcts on this intersection. It's good to see:

That foreground view has been a sad image for far too long. At least in spring and summer it's green! Otherwise the desolation would be extremely evident.

Hamilton’s Radio Arts building nearly complete amid local condo market lull

https://www.thespec.com/business/ham...1e78702f6.html

As many downtown Hamilton development projects languish amid a condo market slowdown, one new building has risen from the ashes — and could welcome home residents next summer.

Canlight Group’s Radio Arts project, a 14-storey, 122-unit condo at the corner of King and Caroline streets, celebrated the completion of the building’s structure Wednesday.

....

But in the case of Radio Arts, 107 of the 122 units in the building have sold, with the last 15 to be part of a final release, noted Shaw.

Curious how those last few sell.

I really like this one. Despite the complaints I think it will turn out to be one of the best developments in that part of the city, if not the entire downtown.

I don't like the bunker style balconies on this one and the one going up on James South but other than that its not bad. Great density.

Agreed on the bunker-style balconies - it's alright - coulda been better - but it's alright.
