I have to admit I had not noticed until now the angling in of the corner closest to the intersection (first two pics). From about the midway point going down, the windows are set further and further in.

I find details like that too subtle, especially in this case where it's hidden behind a balcony.

From the office, this one looks topped out (no more rebar poking up) and it looks to be 1 floor shorter than 498 Drake

Hmm it's about 4M taller than 498 but a bit further away from the office. I would have imagined it would be about the same size as 498 from your vantage. Must still be a mech penthouse and fins to go.
