^Really like how the Fir & 7th Supportive Housing turned out!

Actually impressed with all the 14 sites! Currently liking the dark glass corner of the SEFC W2nd site!

Complete:
1. National and Prior
2. Pender and Abbot
3. Pender near Beatty
4. First and Main
5. 7th and Fir
6. 17th and Dunbar

Under construction:
1. 1233 - 1251 Howe
2. 1134 Burrard Street
3. 215 West 2nd Avenue

Early prep work.
1. 675 East Broadway

No movement.

Don't know.
1. 590 Alexander Street
2. 606 Powell Street

I'm missing one.

laughed to see that little house defying all the redevelopment going on around it!

Seems ideal to be moved to an island and become a summer cottage.

That's a very strange looking angled slab. I wonder what the purpose behind that is?

They're always drunk but they usually still manage to get the slab straight!

O.o
Maybe it's below the first floor of underground parking, and it's for utilities?

Not the 14 sites - but the City has bought the Ramada in Collingwood for social housing:

Thanks.

That shot provides a prine example of the stark difference between a glass curtain/window wall with spandrel panels versus a facade with more solid-looking (concrete, opaque) surfaces.
One looks "temporary" (lacking presence) while the other looks "permanent" (looks "solid").

That social housing building looks damn good. It's sad when social housing is designed to a much higher standard than "luxury" condos...
