Anyone know what’s going on here? My friend just bought a condo in the area and he heard it’s going to be a residential mid-rise with retail.

According to the site plan, it's five retail buildings with one being a laundromat.

The amount of parking looks reasonable and not oversized too, which is a minor win.

The site owner just applied to rezone to allow a gas station as well. Seems unnecessary as there are already 2 within a block or so.

Here was their first idea for the site before placing the project on hold indefinitely. Land was purchased back in 2015.
