Thank you! Appreciated. If anyone really wants to know about the byline, it is from the Simpsons episode 'Lisa goes to Washington'. One of the essay contest judges is introduced as "Wealthy gadabout, Chilton Gaines". I'm not wealthy, so....not particularily lazy either, but it is a more fitting adjective.

No problem, and thanks. I always use a UV filter, but in that second last batch I posted (post #259) I cranked up the saturation in post to bring out the colours more.

not sure if I am worthy of posting my pics on this thread, given the quality of what has been posted. but on monday i had to go to NAIT and was able to snap some pics from the tower, and last night i had dinner at the laronde
not quite in the same league as some of you, but here they are:

^ I am trying to reconcile where this was shot from and what it pictures. I can't recognize any of those buildings. Is this a shot over Oliver with University cranes in the background?
