I'm not saying that I would buy at $1,100 per SF, and I think the market has gone crazy, but I don't think that they've 'mis-priced' it.
With that price, one can buy something nicer like at the Vancouver House or The Trump, seriously.

Overall, I like the appearance of the New Jubilee House but the one thing I have a problem with is the choice of (sea foam?) green for the spandrel around the corner at ground level.

The same caught also my eye. That's a missed detail IMO.

Well... In Vancouver seafoam spandrel matches everything (around). So there's that.

The stranger thing is that it harks back to the 1990s "true" seafoam.

It looks really bulky.

I know this is said of basically every tower, but it would look a lot better with 10 more stories.

The days of buying at Vancouver House or Trump at $1000/sq ft are long gone

Did that project sell out? Finishing aside, there will be some awesome views and some terrible ones (of the side of a bridge). Can't wait to see it rise though, it will be the best thing we've seen in a long time IMO.

Yep, sold out ages ago. Incredibly quickly for a building priced at that point too.

Say what you will about Gillespie, he knows how to sell expensive condos!

For Van House, you included the penthouse and sub-penthouses, didn't you? FYI, for this ugly 8X development, a 450sqft studio is going for 530,000 to 550,000? That would be at least $1200psf, and they are probably the lower floor units, where you stare into the bedroom of a subsidised housing unit, or worse, perhaps just a brick wall.

I can bet this one will see a price discount somewhere down the road. No one in the right mind will want to buy into it.

Vin most people base their purchasing decisions on more than their subjective view of the tower architecture.

The finishes and furnishings will be incredibly high end, a lot of care and attention has been paid to the suite layout and the location is top notch.

I do not doubt this one will sell well at it's price point.

Apparently 60% of the units have sold in the first two weeks...at an average of $1,400 per SF.
