I just received five different "Application Information" cards from the Clark County Commissioner's office about projects around Sky Las Vegas. I'm sure this will all be on line next week
http://dsnet.co.clark.nv.us/dsnetapp...aWeb/nofa.aspx but there's one thing that stuck out.
The Fontainebleau is asking to increase the height of its podium building along LV Blvd from 81 feet to 111 feet, from 137 feet to 164 feet along Riviera and raise the garages/convention center building bordering Turnberry Place to a whopping 215 feet. And finally, Fontainebleau is also asking to build a cooling tower and "acoustic screen wall" along Riviera Blvd that would be 26 stories tall.
No mention of raising the main tower's height from the planned 735 feet.
Other requests from Fontainebleau to build temporary storage buildings on the LVTI lot and to build a 2-story sales center across the street next to Sky.
