I see this one guy who's always on a bicyle riding all over town at any time of day or night and he has the most magnificent mullet on Gods green earth. I really need to get a photo. Perfectly angled flat-top with the back side going ¾ of the way down his back.

....The real Joe Dirt.

I've seen this guy (theoretically) all my life and have worked landscaping with him and bonded with him as the only other gringo, even though I leaned towards the Guatamalans. Through an unfortunate string of events he has been relegated to the bike, yet has taken to it quite naturally. I generally associate him with quieted down river towns along the Mississippi like-say Hannibal and have even seen him all over the inner city of this place.

Simply I don't know how the burgs and low-end taverns will fare when this era passes. It's like he is begging for Story Corps to come by.

Another change of subject...

....but living so close to Iowa (5 minutes) I'm so fucking glad this caucus is over. GOP boners in town every day for weeks on end, relentless TV attack ads all day long...."Rick Santorum paid illegal immigrants to water-proof his basement!"...."Mitt Romney rapes puppies!"
It's New Hampshires turn....

It's nice that we're finally into the actual election year. Only 11 months until election day!

My computer isn't reading the card from my P&S. All I have on there are videos, but I really want to upload them to Facebook.

I tried connecting via USB, but the computer doesn't seem to read that at all either.

Oh man don't say that in a hockey bar in st. louis. Or do, maybe it won't matter.

There's a minor chance that my work-area is contaminated with radiation, so I called in sick.

FYI – the mail carrier will be about 15 minutes late, so the window for mail pickup will open at approximately 10:45 a.m.

I still haven't added the extra layer of packing tape to the boxes. I've been too preoccupied with other, more important assignments.

Its also unseasonably warm in the 'Staff as well (high of 56 today), but the temps drop 35-40 degrees once the sun sets.

It feels like mid March here. It has felt like mid-March since early December. It's still below freezing all the time, but other day it was normal for this time of year and it felt extremely cold by comparison. Our port is still operating.

Yeah, it was 71 F according to my back yard thermometer...(21 C)...

Not gonna dip below freezing except by one degree on one day for the next several days...

Kind of has me freaked out. Looks like my little palm tree might survive the winter...wtf?

The grass in front of the SaskPower building here was green yesterday. Not just spring green either. WTF?

To put this in perspective. The normal lows are -23C here. It was -1C this morning when I got up. The normal high is -12C. It was 5C yesterday. I think I can count on one hand the number of mornings it was below -12C in the morning since the beginning of December.

If Environment Canada is right, mid January to mid March are going to be ugly cold because they predicted la nina would give us a colder than normal winter.

Damn, they already closed what may have been the thread of the year in skybar. I know it's early, but seriously standing versus sitting? They shut it down after only two votes. Now we'll never know.

^ no shit (pun intended)! Seriously, if you can't figure out how to sit-and-wipe then chewing gum and walking at the same time is probably a daily struggle too, among other things.

So how about that "Standing VS. Sitting" (to wipe your ass) thread? Was that not hilarious or what?
