Yeah, those sliding doors are really only single door wide.

*****

PS - I noticed small LED lights in the ceiling of each zigzag bay window on the Richards side - so the zigzag façade might look interesting at nighttime.

Thanks for the review.

The only remaining question is how much (if at all) is the residential tower going to be lit up. I think the podium is likely to use the same lighting seen along the edges of the protruding boxes on the commercial tower. But will the similar edges of the residential tower do the same?

It was in June 2012 that the demolition of the parkade at the corner of Robson and Richards began. So, this whole process will probably have taken 4+ years (for the condo tower) by the time they get everything done.

I look forward to getting our sidewalks back and am also eager to see what lighting the new condo tower might have.

Nice filler.

The rendering at the top of the page shows this tower clad in darker tinted glass. What on earth happened?

It was a rhetorical question. In other words, I was making a comment on how this "filler" tower turned out.

The Robson side hoarding is down (lots of gravel and crap on the sidewalk).

There's a lso a couple of "test" pieces of glass barrier around the "pond" next to the Georgia side elevator.

Yes, those small LED lights add some presence to the zigzag windows at night. When viewed from above they are lighting up the sill below.

First pic is the Robson sidewalk. The others are the Richards Street sidewalk.
