Its been a while (August??) Since a big tower started construction in Toronto. Hopefully, One Bloor West or something else starts up soon.

We are in a drought.

Part of the Stantec Podium taking shape on the left; the rest of the tower will be connected to it when it rises out of the pit:

1 Bloor is truly a monster and gap filler (nice photo!)

I actually like how 1 Bloor currently looks without the frosted balcony glass installed. I love the glow of the white painted concrete. Very Aqua like. Also reminds me of Steveve's cardboard Toronto models.

Those top 2/3 floors are for the mechanical and electrical equipment.

Ten York is going to be a nice addition, no doubt. I just wish they'd been bold and continued with the triangular podium shape all the way to the top rather than the usual tasteful refrigerator box.

It's a fine line between bold and stupid. Extending the podium shape the full height would definitely fit the latter as millions and millions would be spent on unsaleable space. Tridel also doesn't do tasteful and 10 York is not a square box.

You would use a balcony 900 ft up?
