The Chatham street one looks nice as well however I don't see that one becoming a reality.

Also guessing we will never see the Inspiration tower go up at Ouellette and Wyandotte as I have never heard anything else on it after the proposal.

But not all negative. I do think eventually we will see some change downtown, I just think it will take a while.
It's coming just have to be patient. The residential units are desperately needed. The area of downtown near Janette between Riverside and Wyandotte is super hot right now. Lots of money going into that neighbourhood. Westbridge place sold out almost immediately. Many infill projects and renos going on in that area.

WestBridge hit 100% capacity in about 6 months. The turnover rate seems high thought. There's always uhauls coming and going. Rent just went up (45 a month in my case) and its almost unsustainable currently. The bonus with that place is its all inclusive which is huge.
They need to address the traffic issue though. Leaving the parking lot is and has always been borderline dangerous. There have been many accidents on Crawford in my time there. Eliminate street parking between Wyandotte and the north end of the parking lot... or move it across the street.

I remember checking out their units online shortly after construction was completed and there were only a handful of vacancies.

How would you rate the quality of construction and materials of your apartment? The place looks nice inside. Regarding traffic in that area I'd say it definitely needs some calming. Ppl are constantly flying down that overpass.

They claim "luxury living" ... that's a stretch to say the least.
Stainless steel appliances in the kitchen. Very pleased with them.
Insuite laundry is a huge bonus so I'm not about to complain in regards to the quality of those appliances. They're sufficient.
Prefab cabinets (they're nice enough but yeah I'll leave it at that)
granite countertops in kitchen and bathrooms

all in all, and for the price is these ridiculous market times, you won't find better. Rent is utilities included (plus 1 parking spot and 1 same floor storage locker)

I've seen better workout rooms at a cheap hotel which is disappointing because it would've been nice to cancel my proper gym membership if the building had a sufficient space.

I suspected it was faux luxury living but yeah can't go wrong with the price. Speaking of accidents in the area I heard of a rollover there this morning

Phase 4 Cabana road widening has begun

It's quite the view. The RenCen always dominates but the bridge will really have a presence once complete.

I really like the whole concept and feel that this is exactly what we need downtown and specifically in that space. It would bring some liveliness and fun to the core, especially the food truck idea.

I can't tell if this is legit or not.
I haven't seen anything news related of application related on the cities website regarding development.

It’s most likely legit. I saw some geotechnical testing occurring on that parking lot a few years ago when I still lived in Windsor.

Seems a bit questionable. What the hell is "Rouge E11"? I've never heard of any of those other neighbourhoods that it claims to abut either lol

That's good infill for the core and for that area in particular.
