I haven't been to sun valley for a couple of years, not since covid, anyway.

now I'm tempted to take a quick ride over there.

Wow! Loved the Sun Valley pics. It's been quite a few years since I've been to Sun Valley. You sure have to love what Idaho provides for us in our "backyard". We sure have an amazing state.

I always think it's funny when you get those typical stereotypes, "Duh, Idaho is potato state. Nothing but potatoes, fields, and farmers". haha Yup, keep thinking that.

The Wood River Valley is exceptional; the scenery, the old Hollywood glamour, the history and the food.
The stereotypes always amuse me lol.
I would say with confidence that Idaho is one of the most beautiful states. Our diverse landscapes are amazing and for good or bad it's been discovered. The spud fields are also beautiful in their own way because mountains are always in view close by or in the distance
There isn't an Idaho Russet smilie, so the leek will have to do.

Have you also learned that secret from the river; that there is no such thing as time? That the river is everywhere at the same time, at the source and at the mouth, at the waterfall, at the ferry, at the current, in the ocean and in the mountains.-Hermann Hesse

Capitol Mall ~ March 12

This was seriously the loudest bike pub I've ever heard cycling around downtown. This particular group was everywhere lol, they were going fast.

This was around 2pm today, I'm sure they are home on the couch by now, which is just after 5pm.

Great shots! I've said it before, you are fortunate up there to have such a beautiful river flowing through your city and living at the base of that large watershed. Some of us aren't as lucky.

I think the rules about drinking while cycling were updated.

The Northend Historic District ~ 2017

Here is some nostalgia from March of 2017 after the winter nicknamed Snowmageddon. Ada, the elderly elk, came down from the Boise Mountains to live out the last of her life in the Northend and roamed around, often sleeping in yards and she was loved.

She passed away on St. Patrick's Day in the yard on Fort Street in the final photo.
