...And before anyone comes at me... I think Ottawa is lovely on foot... but the quality of buildings there (other than Parliament Hill) and the tabletop look leaves a lot to be admired. It's best angle is from the sky.. you see the density.. which I love.. but it is screaming for an iconic tower (or two) to break that table top downtown... that's all.

Sorry, but anyone from the 905’s opinion is irrelevant. Mississauga, Vaughan, Niagara… All fake cities with cheesy, manufactured, downtowns, made of modern try-hard tall buildings built on cheap former industrial lands or parking lots in the middle of nowhere. Cannot mask that they are sad suburban mock ups of real cities, where dreams go to die.
And Calgary? Really?? Ottawa is ten times the city that Calgary is. You could not pay me to live in Calgary. It’s the generic Kelsey’s Roadhouse chicken tatters of cities, and a few empty modern office buildings downtown will not change that. Calgary! Lol
