It actually has been changed to First McKinley. So we're good there!

Final Building Permit was submitted along with numerous other permits, so X PHX II should be still on track for Groundbreaking next month.

Will be cool to see this plus the two Central Station towers all rising at the same time!

I wonder if they will have 2 tower cranes up again for phase 2? Going to have a ton of cranes in the skyline again.

I wondered that as well, not sure where they will be placing it either. I will try to find out from some people involved with the project.

I did confirm it is 25-stories with a height of 320'. Phase 1 was 266', so 54' taller. X Roosevelt will be 19-stories with a height of 234'.

Final Site Plan was issued Wednesday for phase 2. Looks like the height got clipped again and has a final height of 300' 10".

Going to see if I can dig up updated renderings. I'll post if I find any.

No it's still 320' and 25 stories, the 300' number is top of roof slab (not including parapet, elevator overruns, mechanical penthouse, and dog park fencing which is where the extra 20' comes from).

Thanks for the clarification. All my records request for the 2nd phase so far are coming back nil. Any chance you have access to updated renderings?

No I haven't seen anything, sometimes they don't create the final renderings until project is permitted and in construction since they just use them for marketing purposes really. Might be the case with this one.

Also, they should have foundation permit ready next month (May) and have utility permits pulled already, so it sounds like Clayco is going to start construction in the next week couple weeks.

They should be setting up new construction fence and permanent lane closure on 2nd Avenue this week or early next. Should begin grading and building pad prep next week, so next week they are technically starting but not sure if they are going to do an "official" groundbreaking with golden shovels and all.

Great update! Do we start a separate thread for Phase II or add it to this one?

We can keep this thread. I did change the height to 320' in the thread title to reflect phase 2's height.
