Is there a render of it?

This is the render, it may or may not be current.

Nothing has been submitted to the city or publicly released by the developer. Everything is currently speculation, including the Daily Hive article, based on this concept below.

Thanks, that looks ok from the street level. If the "datacenter" portion is at the Expo street level below, that would be fine IMO.

I believe that is the earlier version which was hotel + data centre. The new version may be only data centre, and thus would likely have a less friendly ground level.

I think the data centre is the dark building that would be where the surface parkade is located (?)

It works for a podium, because it boosts the potential light pollution-complainers above the level of the Northern Lights Display at BC Place.
There would still be retail at grade and one story said that weird circular restaurant pavilion is still being built.

Interesting video on the effects of data center infrasound on quality of life and human comfort.

It seems like it could potentially be extremely problematic to construct a data center in one of the densest location in the country

Those data centres are like close to 1,000,000 square feet of square foot of space that needs to be cooled. I assume this would be tiny in comparison. And some of the examples like xAI's data center isn't most of the noise generated from the mobile gas turbines?
