1. If you look closer, they finished 1+ floor in that time.

2. There are literally workers in the pictures (on a Sunday no less) jumping the crane higher which you can see dangling in the air.

Not sure why you have so much biased skepticism on this project.

Plumbing works already started in waldorf project and other new started projects in Miami. But I did not see any plumbing work inside of okan project although they already poured 7 levels. How they will manage vertical plumbing penetrations (drilling cores) if there are a lot of cables and cable conduits inside of concretes? It will be very difficult and risky.

By the way, I do not have so much biased skepticism on this project. I am only an investor. I must ask required questions for a profitable investment.

Do you have any diagrams or section drawings for the Okan Tower from the City of Miami that you can post here. Also, will the 70th floor sky deck or the 67th floor restaurant be open to the general public.

Okan Tower Construction Reaches 12th Floor in Downtown Miami
https://floridayimby.com/2025/01/okan-tower-construction-reaches-12th-floor-in-downtown-miami.html

By: Oscar Nunez 8:00 am on January 17, 2025

The 902-foot Okan Tower in Downtown Miami has reached a key construction milestone, with work progressing to the 12th floor following the completion of its expansive 290,000-square-foot parking podium. This 70-story supertall tower, designed by Behar Font & Partners, is set to become one of the tallest buildings in the region when it tops off.

The mixed-use development, located at 555 North Miami Avenue, is led by Okan Group and marks a significant addition to Miami’s skyline. Construction, overseen by Okan Construction LLC, is advancing at a steady pace, with one floor being completed each week. The project is now entering the hotel level phase, signaling steady progress toward its anticipated completion.

Great photo series via https://floridayimby.com/2025/03/okan-to...orth-miami-avenue-in-downtown-miami.html

It's actually closed the gap on Waldorf a little. Only 3 or 4 floors behind now.

Waldorf is at 19 (at the time of this photo) - not this one. Also I count 16.

How can it be? Strange...!!

https://floridayimby.com/2025/03/okan-to...orth-miami-avenue-in-downtown-miami.html

"Recent aerial photographs show an accelerated pace of formwork installation, with the tower surpassing the 18th floor and work progressing on the 19th."

Apart from this, I still did not see a real piping work on the floors except a couple of half-completed piping lines..

Sorry for the confusion on the article. I also counted around 16. However, some workers on site stated 18 so I went with that instead.

Don't forget some floors are skipped in skyscrapers due to superstitions like floor 13 or double height floors like lobbies/amenities, not sure if they are taking that into account when they construction workers say they are working on a certain floor.
