Wow, perfect angle and great view overall. Look at all the ice in the reflecting pool at 1500 Georgia.

mcminsen...Same reaction I had. Knew I was working near this project, then was pleased by the angle it gave us. Owner of the suite tells me he'll need me back in the future.

In the neighborhood today...Lots of construction in this area.

We have reached bottom. About 70 feet, 6 levels of parking.

Using a Clamshell Bucket to finish this dig.

Nice, Keep the updates coming on this dig. I'm looking to capture the egress of these excavators. By the looks of it, maybe within a week. I keep missing these heavy lift

Go to ~2:15 (view full screen!) to see why protective head gear is required anywhere on a site like this, especially in the pit. And the recovery at ~4:10.

Few more meters for the Mat/Pad Foundation

I don't see excavator egress for another week or two.

From Graham Construction twitter today:

On 1568 Alberni in #yvr, we've completed excavation and shoring on the bottom 2 levels
of the 8-level underground parking garage. Excavation for sumps and footing has begun,
and foundation wall waterproofing is well underway!
