If anyone is wondering why the first suspended slab pour is taking forever (was suppose to be poured this past wednesday ) there was some rubble that feel off north side of wall last sunday causing an area to be danger taped off and engineers approved wire mesh to help hold any future problems on that wall. so slab pour will be next friday then project should move along just fine with more speed than before

Why is the concrete a brown reddish colour around those sections? Special mix?

75 MPA round columns and 35 MPA typical slab. It’s that colour so the engineers know that we put in the stronger mix. Besides that parkade is getting painted once it’s done

No problem..slab pour this thursday by the big round columns and i believe if lucky another core lift or should i say next floor core walls may be standing. this site is suppose to have roughly 26 carpenters and labourers at the moment there are only round 17, guys tying bar are dropping guys all the time, very hard to find trades these days so some days are tough for these guys.

I wonder if this project is on schedule. They certainly needed time to demolish and start from scratch.
