Auto traffic?

AUTO TRAFFIC?!?!?!?!

The "war on cars" and "I'll never go downtown again" folk of Greater #HamOnt have yet to realize how the battlefield may be a-changin'

I meant vehicle traffic...downtown will seem less abandoned after sundown than it has been in the past...

hopefully less vagrants then too - a busier downtown tends to scare those away..

mind you it's nowhere near as bad as it was 10 or 15 years ago..

I guess you've never been in downtown Toronto then. Lot's of vagrants there, they just become less viable with more people.

I am happy to see this one above grade already, and it looks to be a really big ground section/podium...

It's still being built. I was in the hammer a week or two ago and I think it was like 3 stories above ground at that point.

Walk by every day on my way to the GO bus stop. They're almost done pouring columns to support the 4th floor. I think the podium will be 6 or 7 stories total so it'll be a while before work starts to get interesting. Since every floor of the tower is the same shape I think it'll be pretty speedy once they get to it.

It's going to be a beast. They're on the 4th level parking right now. Weather hasn't helped but once they get the podium levels done it should fly up in the spring.

Forming of the 6th floor podium walls underway. One more slightly taller podium floor to go after this and it's on to the tower.
