ProphetM. Completely unaware of the event, I tried to do public transportation from Mid-City to the Central Library. The northbound traffic on Hill Street simply stopped at Olympic, and the bus driver suggested I get off there and walk. Which I did. I am sorry I missed these open houses, but I was so peeved about the congestion I wasn't in the proper mood
Councilman Huizar's, shall we say, omnipresence in your photos is due to his being in a bitter re-election battle with former LA County Supervisor (and before that, Councilman for the Eastside) Gloria Molina in the 9th district. The election is March 3rd.
