I am looking forward to the second level of residential floors covered in cladding to see how the balconies will start to look when finished. And also the interesting way the hotel, at the bottom, has wide thin rectangles outlined in white. Then the office levels are less wide and taller, and now on top the residential floors are going to be almost white outlined squares. The opposite progression of what one would think would be put on a 1,000'+ tower.

This tower is turning out very nice, IMO.

At least they fit it into the pattern rather than breaking it up.

how do you like living in the Burgh? It's one of my favorite cities, especially downtown.

Since it was a hot topic, I snapped a few photos taking a closer look at the ventilation on the side of the parking garage, and sandwiched between the garage and office level facing Cesar Chavez St.

Thanks Airwave Dynamics for the video. Some how I missed it until gillynova's post.

Your video gives me a sense of awe for this tower. Already very impressive and much more height to go. The over all height in that location in Rainey, on the bend of LBL is Awesome. The way the building works with the creek looks great! We will see about the amenity decks. The color is great...I disagree on the West Campus comments. WoW, a Super Tall for Austin...and tallest in TX! Still amazing to see going up. Never would have thunk in lil ol' Austin 30+ years ago.

Thank you AusTex. Yes indeed it's amazing to think how much taller this tower is still going to be!

I realize this is quite a delayed reply, but thanks gillynova! I tend to quickly post a video, then I'm back to my day job(s) lol.
