Once this reaches street level it will shoot upwards in no time.

That's the money shot. It shows just how fantastic this tower will look on the skyline. I cannot wait to see it finished.

Considering it only has 2 (and in many spots 1) below ground levels tops, this will certainly reach the street pretty quickly.

Good point, considering its small footprint.

This building will have some of the most advanced damping mechanisms in the world to prevent wind sheering forces. the dampers of most supertall buildings make up about 0.1% of its overall weight. This tower's dampers will make up about 1% of the building's overall weight. So I wouldn't worry about that. I seriously doubt that they would make a supertall residential building without structural integrity, especially one that will atract some of the richest people on the planet.

Will it use passive or active cancellation?

So I am sure it is just latent OCD tendencies coming out... But can any one explain why the tower crane sits just a little off angle to square???

All that construction mess doesn't bother me, but that tower is driving me CRAZY.

I still can't believe how tall and slender this one will look. I'd dying to see how it looks in person once it's finished.

I posed the same question in post #2142. See Marcatio's reply.
