couldn't deliver it because the croud drowned him out. not a bad thing though. The IOC president needs to learn to accentuate the sentances he wants the croud to cheer after.

Loved the reaction/ovation the crowd at BC Place gave after Furlong's remark that our last gold will be remembered for generations to come... or something to that effect (ie - Men's Hockey GOLD!!!)

I can't get enough of the images of crowds flooding the streets of Vancouver, Toronto, etc. in celebration.

Robson / Granville about 20 minutes ago. Probably HUNDREDS of thousands of people there. Shoulder to shoulder, sidewalk and street, for BLOCKS.

And Yaletown, too! THE WHOLE CITY IS ON FIRE
