Here's a pic I took back in June from the 35 upper deck. I haven't been up there recently so I suspect the Indeed tower is making a more dramatic impact on the skyline from that angle. 6xGuadalupe should look great from here too. Also the growing towers to the east of this view are looking good. So it's changing...

Yes the Indeed tower's point really is sticking up from that view. From the south, not so much.

Or the downtown grid is in a bit of a valley in comparison to the surrounding areas?
Its also partially the camera that does that effect as well. The buildings always look big to the naked eye. Then you go and snap a picture and the building seems smaller and farther away.

Interestingly, 5C will be mostly blocked by Hanover Republic Square. Either way, your balcony view is #winning.

Well looky how well 405 stands out in that pic and how massive Indeed is. I love the hills in the foreground. Really nice picture.

Nice photo. I'll be curious to see what the sunlight on 405 Colorado looks like with it having a different angled facade than the rest of the skyline. It already stands out in that photo, but with the sun hitting only its facade at that angle at certain times of the day, it should really look wild. Years back I was at the Expo Center in East Austin, and 100 Congress then would catch the sun on the glass on the roof and that copper colored glass really stood out on the skyline. That view of it is long gone now since the skyline has grown since then, but man, was it impressive. I've also seen The Austonian's crown do some pretty weird light tricks in the evening when viewed from the south/southwest. Sometimes it looks like a torch. There are a couple of photos floating around of it sticking up through the fog with the sun hitting it and shining through the fog. It's really something when it does it.

Indeed looking really gorgeous in that pic. Austin's skyline is gonna be super interesting 10 years from now with the angled towers going in - Republic, Indeed, Waller Tower and possibly even those Railyard towers.

I would kill for just one HUGE sharp pointed or angled signature tower for our tallest. Something that reigns for decades.

Agreed. We need a point in there somewhere for some variety.

This is one of those shots that makes our skyline seem super impressive and huge. It's for sure from a higher elevation looking down (subtly).

That's what I've always wanted. Something like the BoA Tower in Atlanta.
