If a second floor patio was ever to be part of the design of the hotel, this is something they would have to have planned from day one.
Yes, those windows are all second floor guest room windows. No hotel guest would want their window at the same level as a patio - you would have no privacy whatsoever!!
Now, that isn't to say that, in the initial design, they couldn't have planned
Carrabba's to be a two level restaurant with patio access from the second level. They could have done this and at the same time made the hotel six storeys rather than four. This could have been quite nice. This however would be impossible to retrofit. As for now, what you see is what you get...........
