Would have been nicer if it came out closer to drake as to line up with its neighbour and hide its blank wall

Nice vantage point! There's a whole lot of ugly that will be blocked from view once this tower and the one next door are completed.

Great pic! I also appreciate getting that bird's eye view of the Charleson on the right side.

Yes, it does expose that wall (see fourth pic below). But, we get a wider sidewalk.

I think the podium has topped out now and the tower is starting to take off.

That's right. Five floors for the podium. 38 floors for the above tower.

Thanks for the update.

Exciting times. Should be topped out around the end of the year.

Yeah, this one is moving fast! We should now just prepare for the upcoming "shock" how that the spandrel on this thing is going to be gray.

But the yellow tinted balcony glass will be interesting for sure!

As shown on the model...
Note model has yellow only covering the slab.

Haha, I so called it. Anyways, hopefully the yellow detailing will overpower it.

Looks more brown/beige than grey. I think it will be ok.

Has Wall given a name to this project? Love the additional retail to this neighbourhood. Should complement the shops right across Richards Street at the 501 Pacific, and eventually Vancouver House shops/market. Too bad the Charleson next door only has a small cafe CRU.

Has this building gone on sale? So weird that it doesn't have a name.

I know one of them is getting a Daycare centre. Is that Charleson?

As noted earlier in this thread, this project is believed to be a rental tower

Not sure which one has it. The Mark just next block already has a huge childcare centre though.

For such a large project, it should still have a name. Publicity can bring in good renters and even retailers for the CRUs. This project is way too low key.
