Great amenity to have downtown. Hopefully dog park will be busy to keep eyes on the park. Loved having quite a few of these small fenced off leash parks close-ish who my home in Toronto. Will also encourage people to actually *gasp* interact with other human beings.

Construction shutdown for the Christmas and New Year break and will start up again on January 9th. Some recent items that were completed:

* The fountain is complete including the grate installation
* The sidewalk from the NE corner around the open leisure space area has been poured
* The planting bed that runs adjacent to the sidewalk is complete
* The foundations for the benches and garbage receptacles in the open leisure space and dog park area have been poured
* The majority of the panels on the Omega fencing have been installed and the remainder will be installed this winter
* The lights have been installed

* Majority of the grading on the north half of the site has been completed so the site will drain to CBs

The contractor is planning to do work that can still be done with the winter conditions; such as:

* hauling out removal materials
* cedar planters construction
* construction of the utility/storage shed in the community garden area
* electrical and plumbing connections in shed
* electrical connection to lights.

The grading is ready in the dog park area and all of the materials for the artificial turf are currently in storage. The artificial turf contractor will be mobilizing to install the turf in the spring.
