A bit ridiculous. It’s cold, yes. It’s abnormally cold, yes. But unless everything else is closed, schools probably shouldn’t be, either. If parents did not have to report to their jobs, it would be all right. Otherwise, I know it’s an inconvenient situation for teachers as it is for everyone else, but that’s sometimes part of living on a planet that has variable weather.

We tried once... I think it was in 2010 or 2011 and 4 of us showed up. Molson Export, Kokkei Mizu (who is pretty inactive here), Waterloo Investor (or was it Duke of Waterloo... the guy who made Wonderful Waterloo) and myself.

One thing I can tell you is that Molson Export is very different in person.

Name a time and place and maybe we can do another one. I'm down for it.

The last meet was at Crabby Joe's on Dundas near Wellington.

I would be down, anytime in the evenings except Thursdays.

Crabbys downtown would be fine, heard it's much nicer now with the recent renovations.

I would like to go, but I'm back in the UK until March 2. If it's after that, I'm in.

Hmm the day before the Olympics begin. Might be able to do it, if not sometime after the games.

I'll be a shut-in during the Olympics

I am interested, if there is enough interest. Later this winter/spring.

I just moved so I am kind of busy presently.

Would probably work for me, but let's find out a bit closer to then. I generally don't plan further than my next meal.

And the radio landscape gets even shitter in London and environs, with the conversion of 103.9 from Rock to New Country.

Is there anything lower than New/Modern Country? I'd say it is the bottom of the barrel, except that would insult the barrel.

I'm with Tom Petty on this. http://www.savingcountrymusic.com/to...-with-a-fiddle
