haha..wow. 6-3 Blackhawks. C'mon guys! It's just one game. So the Canucks had a bad game, and lost the game. We didn't think it was going to be another sweep now, did we? This series was at least going to go 6 games, most likely the full 7 games. It's going to be war out there. I'm predicting a Canucks win in Game 3, on Tuesday. I can't watch the game, as I have a prior appointment, but I'll find out when I get home that evening who'll win - I say the 'Nucks! Luongo's not going to let in 6 goals that often. And the rest of the forwards really did not play that well 5-on-5. We'll be better. Have hope in the team. Don't jump off the bandwagon just yet.

6-3 lost to the Blackhawks. Ouch. I only heard on the radio the first period, and they were (at that time) up 2-0 on Chicago. I had something to do that evening, when I came back home, I saw the highlights, and saw that we lost 6-3. I was like what the heck?! Luongo let in 6 goals? wow. that's amazing. i can't see him doing that the next game, but boy oh boy, people here in vancouver are getting a bit nervous with these young blackhawks. they scored 3 straight goals in the 3rd period against Luongo, in Game 1, and then they score 3 straight in the second period in Game 2. they are starting to scare me a bit too. I hope the Canucks can bounce back in Game 3 (they need to, cause if they don't, I can see their confidence shaken a bit by that point). Game 3, in my opinion is a must win for the 'Nucks.

I was out and about when Game 2 was happening so I only checked the score via my cellphone internet every now and then. First time I checked, it was 2-0, then 2-1, then 3-2, then 5-2, THEN 6-3... my heart skipped a beat when reading the trend of those scoring Anyways, Game 3 and 4 will be very important to see if Canucks can win one. This is the second round playoff, we should not expect continuous sweeping !

Seems to me the letter C stands for cockiness for the two teams, lol... Chicago lost Game 1 because they got cocky, and Canucks lost Game 2 also because of cockiness presumably from winning that Game 1 and a 2-goal lead. Stop being so cocky and play some hockey, I say !

I think we're going to need to win one of the next two games to have confidence that we can win the series.

Considering our record in Chicago, I wouldn't put it past the Nucks to win in the Windy City

Oct. 19 2008: Van 2 - Chi 4
Dec. 20 2008: Chi 3 - Van 1
Feb. 7 2008: Chi 3 - Van 7
Mar. 29 2008: Van 4 - Chi 0

Our records against Chicago is pretty even. All it matters now is a bit of luck and some push to get the job done.

Our record with Chicago is pretty even during the regular season. We need to win one in Chicago in order for the Canucks to feel any good about themselves, and their game. IF they lose both, it's not impossible to come back, but it's going to be very very difficult. I would even say if Chicago went up 3-1 in the series, it's pretty much over. I'm hoping the Canucks can pull it out tomorrow afternoon. I'll be checking in from time to time, since I won't be able to watch the game. I got work. Darn 5 pm start.

It'd sure be nice if we could sweep our way all the way through to the Stanley Cup Finals! Haha... j/k

^It would've been nice, but that's not technically possible since we've already lost one to Chicago. In order to "sweep" we can't lose a single game.

^Haha..yeah, I realize that. i was just saying that it would've been nice if we could do that. But this series against Chicago is going to go at least 6 games. I say Canucks in 6, but I'm not so sure now. Either 6 or it's going the full 7. I sure hope it's not any less than that, and certainly not for the Canucks to lose in the 2nd round of this year's playoffs.

I personally think that anything less than a Stanley Cup Final appearance for this year would be a failure. There are just such high expectations with the team (how they ended the year, having Luongo in net, having everyone pretty much healthy, etc). I'm excited for tomorrow's Game 3.

3/4 of the teams that won their first game in second round lost their second game. The second round playoff is just getting started !

I really hope the Canucks can steal one or even two on their road trip so they will be more energized coming back home. They've been too cocky with their early leads in these games with Chicago, so I hope they learned their lessons by now.

Yeah, I hope so as well that the 'Nucks steal a win from the Windy City. They need to, or else it's pretty much a high climb up the moutain. The Blackhawks are a good young team, and very exciting team to watch - with that being said, the Canucks need to come out disciplined, and charged up. Luongo needs to steal a game for them in this series. If Luongo's pissed, it'll be a good game, as he has a tendency to play so much better when he's mad.
