The Confed Bridge is fairly impressive due to it's sheer length even though none of the individual spans are terribly long. On a clear day you can actually see it from the top of the Cobequid Hills over 50km away.

Wow! I had no idea! The view from the Cobequid pass is always great tho.

The glimpse of the bridge is only very fleeting at highway speed. You can see it driving northbound, just as you crest the tallest part of the pass. It is only visible for a few seconds. You have to know where to look.

The light and time of day has to cooperate as well. I just might see it tomorrow
when I visit the Island.
