I think they start construction now. there was some crane in that spot last time i wen to discovery green on 3/14

Here are my suggestions to make downtown better.

1. they have to figure out how to get more people living down there. so more condos. the affordable housing project on the previous page is a good start.

2. mixed use development - too much of downtown is just corporate buildings with nothing really to offer to the public. so why go down there unless youre a weird freak like us here on ssp who love buildings.

3. better mass transit - if you want the masses to come then you need a better way to ship them in. and i dont mean just a couple of new lite rail lines. im talking about a full on train system like chicago or even japan kinda style, something that is actually efficient

just my opinion. but im sure many will agree. and i love discovery green. who said bill white didnt do anything for houston? best project ever!
