This reminds me that I saw some crews on the grounds of the former Sears site on Montrose at Allen Parkway. Can't confirm that they were actually doing anything but the crew and equipment were there (a drill and a couple of trucks). Maybe they were merely doing work on the underground piping or maybe nothing at all.

Any scoops?

A new Ismali center is going up I believe.

That first photo guess might be the new 15 floor Courtyard by Marriott. Thanks for the updates.

I am thinking that hotel in the Galleria area going up might be a new 15 story Marriott Courtyard. There's a mention of a proposal for it in the old thread (I think) and it was being designed by the same firm that just built the nearby 14 story hotel (Homewood Suites?)...
