^That building would be going up across from my office. They will need the parking since parking is in scant supply during the middle of the business day, glad to hear a ramp will be built to address it.
One thing that is a bit confusing for me, Wilkeson Way has two parking lots beside it as it leads up to the Waterfront office complex, will the building be constructed on the grassy area right beside Templeton or will it be in the present parking area for the Waterfront Office complex?

The 'tall' section appears to be going on the lot north of Templeton and the shorter section will be on the grass parcel. I'd like to see the waterside view of the building. This looks awfully blocky for a waterfront site. They should go with more glass.
I saw a few more site plots for this project on TV, it is clearly not on Wilkerson Way it is directly across from Templeton in the parking lot area and part of the site considered is the grassy area beside Templeton upon the Marina waters. Which is exactly what you just described.

Bflo News' rendering and map show it on the entry road into Erie Basin and say phase two will be on the site of Pitts' hotel next to the water. I sure hope this project gets redesigned. It's pretty awful.
"HarborCenter will be anchored by the twin rinks — one with an 1,800-seat capacity and the other with a 150-seat capacity. The rinks will be on the building’s sixth floor with the parking ramp occupying much of the first five floors. The project’s Main Street frontage will also house 10,000-square-feet of retail while facing Washington Street will be a two-level, 13,000-square-foot themed restaurant. The hotel will begin on the seventh floor."

This whole area is going to look amazing in just a few years. What a change!

Interesting. According to this Trust Companies article http://books.google.com/books?id=JFM...ilding&f=false, 1913 is in fact the date in which the building was "erected". I'll make a formal request to change the building page. Thanks!
^Looks good! I love to see some of the great new modern architecture Buffalo has been getting to compliment an existing building stock of amazing architectural gems.
