EXACTLY!

Its 2019 and we still have those exposed eye sore train tracks/train yard cutting right thru the park. Cover them up!
And Colombus Ave seems to cut that park in half....wish we had more of a Central Park vibe going on here. From the aerial view its so sad looking.

It should be at most two lanes in each direction, including turning lanes, with no parking. And closed to traffic most of the time like the Drives in Central Park. Then make Jackson and Balbo one way with two lanes.

You couldn’t be more correct! I’m so sick of seeing those tracks disrupt what should otherwise be beautiful!

I'm sad to see this crane go down

100% definitively no cube
if they were insane enough to leave that AC unit and window cleaning crane exposed i'd make it my life's mission to cover it up

all heavy lifting will now be done by the skips

They did a heck of a job enclosing this one. I feel like it was caught up to concrete in no time and other than the skip it looks 95%+ enclosed. Kudos to those two crews. They flew.

This really did turn out fantastic. Sometimes simplicity really is better.

I almost don't even want the twin - I like it by itself!

Depends. If the second building is meant to be taller then I would want to see an equally simple design. If it’s shorter then it doesn’t matter so much.

K i know this an old render but anyone notice at the top of Nema there seems to be shaded glass panels at the top corners of every column! The fact that they rise higher than setbacks tells me it's not just paint! How neat would they look if they where lights?

One day in the not too distant future, those modern window cleaning devices will be retractable (or are they?). As it is now...modern day water tank.
