The main branch of Caisse Desjardins situated in Lévis will move in this new building later this year. It will seek a LEED Gold Standard (geothermal heating, etc). Desjardins really seems to be sprucing up its branches quite nicely nowadays.

I know this has been hacked to death on SSP, SSC, and probably even Malekurb but I really think the Saint-M condos are way too stubby. The promoters are either neutered by height or density restrictions, or have discovered how to physically manifest the words "under achievement".

It does look like the sort of thing you get after the top quarter or third of a building is ritually sacrificed to NIMBYs. Err, I mean, after public consultation.

There are many fugly surface parking lots in that part of Old Montreal that we need to get rid of and that kind of building does the job well for that. We'll never see 40 storey towers in Old Montreal (well, except for the Tour de la bourse) and I'm find with it.

For me, this is probably the most attractive condo project in Montreal at the moment. It has already made a HUGE improvement in what was a run down area.

Je trouve par exemple les Tours Symphonia 10000x fois mieux

Le Séville est très ordinaire architecturalement parlant !

Le problème est que ce N'ÉTAIT PAS un terrain vacant, ils ont détruit un immeuble actif pour construire ce projet.
Bref, aucun progrès à ce niveau !
Aucune densité additionnelle...
