Those are nice-looking towers. Is the Greyhound bus site across the street already zoned for a highrise? That would be a nice "gateway" on Denny.

wow! those towers are niceeee! although i wish the white parts were a little more 'exciting'. i really like the idea of adding street retail. that area needs more pedestrians imo and more buses too.

anyways, heres a building i designed for 4th and Seneca. still have work to do. especially on the base and stuff. plus i gotta figure out a way of getting rid of those stupid white dots

not really an update, but i designed a building for 5th and Jackson. It's located on that hideous parking lot.

more renderings and an explanation here. the explanation isn't the best, but whatever.

Out*fucking*standing!!

I love the last one. It looks like an album for a trance album. I'd buy the album just for the cover.

How can I nominate you as the city architect? You should at least be given free reign in the SLU area. Your artistic sense is urgently needed down there.

That last one is a real building, the Aspira. But I also agree the personal designs don't belong in here.

2030 8th Ave.

Here's a new rendering of the proposed residential tower at 2030 8th...

I like it!

The renders make it look taller than 400ft.

And it's nice to see they understand the prominence of the location.

Now, let's see some more of those parking lots fill in as well..

Definitely agree....too many parking lots in that area. This is the kind of infill I like to see though! A few more towers like this with a neighborhood park and I could definitely see this being a nice place to live, especially being on the streetcar line, etc. I wonder if some of the stalled projects (Kintects tower, etc.) will come back to life anytime soon. I would think there are quite a few Amazon employees that wouldn't mind living so close to work.

Yes, I imagine they will! The potential of the triangle (and south lake union) is still so great.

You think in a decade or two downtown will seamlessly blend all the way to Lake Union?

Is that residential or office? In either case, it's attractive.

And thanks for digging up developments! It makes me sad when Seattle starts collecting dust in here.

Seconding this.

Also, does anyone know the status of 5th & Columbia? Official website has no updates.
